Slope Interruption Devices and Staples
Slope interruption devices are a machine manufactured products that keeps the soil in place. This combination produces strong and effective natural organic netting that protects vulnerable areas on projects with slopes.
Terra Tube Terra-Tubes are the industry’s most cost effective storm water treatment device. designed to effectively trap, filter and treat sediment-laden runoff while reducing hydraulic energy. Terra tubes are used for sediment control applications and is commonly installed along the contours or at the base of a slope to help reduce soil erosion and retain sediment. Terra tubes are designed to effectively trap, filter and treat sediment-laden runoff while reducing hydraulic energy and allow runoff/water to penetrate through the fiber while reducing sediment migration. In additions they also function as slope interruption devices and therefore shorten slope lengths reducing runoff velocity and the potential for sheet erosion and rill formation when used in conjunction with Hydroseeding of Bonded Fiber Matrix (BFM), Fiber Reinforced Matrix (FRM), and erosion control blankets to further reduce erosion and sediment migration.

Our Terra Tubes are available in a wide variety of conveniently sized rolls
Premade Filter Socks: Premade socks are three-dimensional tubular sediment control and storm water runoff filtration device typically used for perimeter control of sediment and soluble pollutants (such as phosphorus and petroleum hydrocarbons), on and around construction activities. Sediment control traps sediment and soluble pollutants by filtering runoff water as it passes through the matrix of the Sediment control and by allowing water to temporarily pond behind the Sediment control, allowing deposition of suspended solids. Sediment control is also used to reduce runoff flow velocities on sloped surfaces.

Our Premade Filter Socks are available in 8”, 12” and 18”
Stenlog: Are elongated tubes of compacted straw and/or other fibers wrapped in rapid degradable tubular polypropylene plastic netting. They are used for temporary erosion and sediment control applications and is commonly installed along the contours or at the base of a slope to help reduce soil erosion and retain sediment. Stenlogs are designed to allow runoff/water to penetrate through the fiber while reducing sediment migration.
