DUST CONTROL SPRAY
Gravel road dust control is tackled by Dust Control Spray. This a practice of controlling and/or preventing excessive surface dust from construction sites, unpaved light-traffic roads, gravel roads, parking lots, and recreational venues where there is the potential for air and water pollution from dust traveling across the landscape or through the air. In addition, they can reduce the potential of having potholes on unpaved light-traffic roads, and parking lots.

Most provinces have laws requiring dust controls (DCs) on construction sites of specified sizes. General sites of 10 acres (4.0 ha) and larger require DCs. Smaller sites (e.g. a residential subdivision) may also required to have DCs. Check with your local municipality to find out if your project requires DCs.

No longer do you require a large-scale project to make our dust control services cost-effective because we have the ability to provide the following:

-
Soil Stockpile services for construction sites on virtually any slope/grade of < 1H:1V areas as small as 1,633 sq./ft. (151 M2). Using hydroseeding applied to protect exposed soil from both wind and water erosion.
-
Roadway services for unpaved light-traffic roads, parking lots, and recreational venues for areas as small as 12,223 sq./ft. (1,135 M2). Using Polymers, Tackifiers, and Soil Stabilizers by bonding the individual soil particles together, and when it dries, it forms a flexible "crust" that strengthens the surface of the soil. It has been determined that the effectiveness of this solution ranges from 70-90%.
