DUST CONTROL

WHAT IS IT?             Are practices used to reduce or prevent the surface and air transport of dust during construction.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?        Regrettably, there is “NO” set price due to several key factors (Variables) that will affect the final amount you can expect to pay. Primarily the method chosen. The key factors needed to be considered will include:

  • Location (Where is the job located)

  • Size of Project (In acres/hectares or square feet/ square meters)

  • Application Requirements

  • Accessibility Conditions (Roadside, or Limited/Restricted)

  • Materials (Water, Mulch and Vegetation, Polymers, Tackifiers, Soil Stabilizers, Barriers etc.)

Should you be given a price for comprehensive dust control over the phone without any of these factors, most likely then some of these factors were not incorporated into the stated price. The most common factor omitted is likely to be the minimum charge.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME?     Any time as most projects have ongoing requirements based on the approved site plan.

WHO DETERMINES THE REQUIREMENT?     Local government legislation or the contractor doing the work generally determine if dust control is required based on the scope of each and every project. Unfortunately, there is no “ONE SIZE FITS ALL” solution.

IS IT FOR SAFE?      Dust control products are safe and non-toxic; therefore, making it safe to use around children and animals.

IS IT GUARANTEED OR WARRANTIED?   In most situations there is "NO" guarantee or warranty.
